“Hear Me Out!”: exploring how sound shapes who we are.

For centuries weaving has created visible definitions of identity for example, as clothing. The Weaving Sound workshops aimed to re-contextualise this craft to explore one’s inner journey from the perspective of sound and how that shapes who we are. Objects were recycled that have in part defined ones journey (for example clothing and sound cables), to turn a range of soundscapes into texture and colour which were then woven.
